The Emerging Leaders Coaching Program is a personalized, comprehensive leadership learning experience. Lead Star's Program includes a unique combination of one-on-one coaching with small group learning.
Emerging Leaders Coaching Program participants will learn how to:
- Optimize their ability to lead: their ability to influence outcomes and inspire others
- Effectively motivate and inspire colleagues
- Develop a personal leadership style that focuses on results
- Embrace their leadership strengths and address their professional weaknesses
- Recognize the differences between managing and leading, and understand when each distinct skill set is needed
- Use leadership skills to balance the demands of work, life, and family
- Implement a strategy to achieve high goals
- Create and foster a professional network
- Maximize communication skills to enhance leadership capabilities
- Build confidence as a result of consistent, strong, professional performance
Participants in the Emerging Leaders Coaching Program complete the following phases during an eight-week session:
Initial Assessment
Participants complete focused written and reading assignments designed to build a foundation of leadership knowledge that will be used throughout the program and beyond.
Emerging Leaders Seminar
A day-long course that connects program participants for individual development, sharing of best practices, and networking. This seminar is taught by Courtney Lynch, Lead Star's co-founder and best-selling co-author of Leading from the Front.
One-on-One Coaching with Courtney
Following participation in the Emerging Leaders Seminar, participants begin a six-week customized coaching program working personally with Courtney via teleconference as they complete targeted assignments designed to develop their individual leadership style and skills.
Final Action Plan
Upon completion of the Emerging Leaders Coaching Program, each participant is provided with a personalized, detailed action plan designed to assist her with continued development of her leadership abilities beyond the program.
Ideal candidates for inclusion in the program are:
- Women who have been identified as "high potential" employees and are slated for future management responsibilities within their organization
- Those who currently serve in management positions and want to improve their ability to lead

Application Process
Due to the limited number of spaces available each session, enrollment in the Emerging Leaders Coaching Program is only offered to qualified candidates after the successful completion of an application.

Program Cost
The fee for the Emerging Leaders Coaching Program is $2,500. This program fee includes all program books and materials, attendance at the full-day seminar, and six weeks of individual coaching sessions with Courtney Lynch. All travel expenses are the responsibility of the participant. Employer payment of the program cost is welcomed and encouraged.
